Scheduling Snapshots

You can set up a schedule that enables you to create snapshots of a volume or volume collection at a specific time in the future or on a regular basis.

Using a schedule can result in a large number of snapshots, so be sure that you have sufficient snapshot reserve. See Modifying Snapshot Settings for information on reserving snapshot space. You can also place a limit on the maximum number of snapshots created from a schedule.
